Museum Exhibits

In the Counting House Museum, the fireplace once used by the cotton textile mill agent has now been restored.

You will see exhibits like a key, stopwatch, shuttles and fabric from the old Ports mouth Manufacturing Company

On display are several fine models of the Piscataqua River gundalows, the local indigenous craft that once carried waterborne cargoes between the region's main river ports and the sea. Some models and carvings were made by Captain Edward H Adams, the last gundalow skipper.
